Reviving your taste buds is a serious business here. Patrons rave about their homemade custard slice, described as “the best we’ve had in a long time” by customer Pieter Vanderzee. This delectable treat promises a smooth, creamy texture encased in a perfectly baked slice that practically melts in your mouth. Combine that with a cup of their rich, aromatic coffee, and you have yourself a match made in heaven.

If you're in for something savory, don't miss out on trying the egg & bacon brioche, highlighted by David Rowe as a must-have. This perfectly balanced breakfast sandwich offers a delightful mix of flavors and textures, complemented by the café’s expertly brewed coffee. Plus, you can indulge in their enticing selection of snacks, all served with the genuine smiles and warmth of the super friendly team.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed breakfast, make sure to explore the adjoining gift and art shop. Helen Thompson praised this space for its lovely local artworks, jams, and chutneys, making your visit not only about coffee but also about appreciating and perhaps taking home a piece of local talent.

It’s evident why Revival has quickly become a beloved local staple with its charming atmosphere, creative offerings, and commitment to quality. As Scott noticed, it can get busy, but the wait is always worth it. The café is known for providing cozy outdoor seating blankets to keep patrons comfortable while they sip on their warming brews, further enhancing that homely, thoughtful touch that makes every visit so enjoyable.

Took the ferry across from Wellington and stopped here en route to Adelaide Hills. Great little coffee shop. I had the bacon and egg brioche with a cinnamon muffin. Tasted great as did the coffee. Friendly service, and an interesting gallery and shop attached with nice jams and chutneys.

Great coffee. Food good. Even offered us blankets to keep warm whilst sitting outside. The gift/art shop was great to browse lovely local art works. Dogs welcome. Open TFSS long hours.

We bought an apricot-almond slice and a custard slice and they were truly top-notch! The coffee was good and the woman who served us (and who told us she made the slices) was really lovely!

I don’t often leave reviews, but the custard slice was so good I had to… my partner had the apricot and almond slice and loved it… super bonus was the egg and lettuce sandwich; done perfectly . This shop deserves all the 5 star reviews!

Such a lovely café! It has a warm and inspiring vibe where you can admire the handiwork of local artists (and even purchase their pieces!). The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the coffee cake is an absolute must-try, it’s amazing!! A beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy yourself.
